The Paleo Diet can be difficult to understand at first. You may often be wondering: “Is it Paleo?” when meal planning, going out to eat or shopping for groceries. A couple notes on the chart above:
- Please note that anything NOT mentioned above in the chart (breads, cookies, cakes, crackers, tortillas, etc) are still simply NOT Paleo, obviously! They do a quick mention of grains not being allowed and breads, crackers, etc are usually made with grains, so that’s all about that.
- And secondly, at the bottom of this chart where some of the flow leads to it says “that crap will kill you” – this doesn’t necessarily mean RIGHT NOW, its just a little Paleo humor. According to the Paleo Diet, eating non-paleo items can lead to health problems which can cause your lifespan to shorten possibly… that’s all its truly saying. But don’t panic if you slip-up and ate something “not allowed” – as it won’t truly kill you immediately! (just a tiny disclaimer for anyone unsure, lol).
