What is crockpot cooking?
Crockpot cooking or slow-cooking using a crock-pot or slow-cooker is all about saving time. You just gather the ingredients, cut up what you need to cut up, put everything in the crockpot and turn it on. You can do this either in the morning when you wake up – then it will be ready by dinner time (on low temperature). OR, you can do it before you go to bed and when you wake up you’ll have some food ready for lunch!
I’ve saved a lot of time in the past when I’ve used my crockpot. It’s an amazing feeling coming home to dinner prepared already and all you have to do is serve it up!
These healthy paleo recipes below are great for meal prep: meaning you can make the recipe (double or triple to fill the crockpot), and then save the food for meals for the week. Or consider this meal prep and freeze some meals for the future.
